I would like to inform you that no there is no problem at all if you are dropping a year aftee your b.com. In fact it's a good thing because IIM usually expect their students to have certain prior experience of the working. The chances of your admission will increase if you will be having prior experience. 
So dont worry it is completely fine for you to drop a year
