It is expected that if a candidates score lies between 70 & 80 marks, theyd get a call for first round of counselling. The table below shows how your rank goes with your VITEEE score. This was the trend in VITEEE 2016.

VITEEE never provides total mark scored by the student in the result. VITEEE result only provides your rank in the exam.

VIT university does not release any cutoff for VITEEE .
The admission are based on the opening and the closing rank .. VITEEE 2018 cutoff is the closed rank  at which the admissions are closed at the university .
So, for your admission  marks does not matter what matters is your rank in VITEEE ...
