Hello,
Yes you can apply for MHTCET 2018 even if you are from Assam.You just need to visit it's application and apply for this exam.Follow proper instructions for filling application form.
You will only be eligible for admission in private colleges of Maharashtra as you are not a domicile of Maharashtra.

Ohh sorry... I am talking about MHT-CET

You can appear for MHT CET exam to take admission in private engineering colleges in Maharashtra. You can also take admission in private colleges of Maharashtra through JEE Main and it is recommended to apply through JEE Main as JEE Main students are preferred over MHT CET.
