Hi Shivendra, As you mentioned you are from ICSE board and referring to S.chand book....But u didn't mention in which standard you are in 11/12/ passed 12 ..Secondly, you will writing NEET and AIIMS in 2018 ? or 2019 ?....And you mentioned you won't get time for other book....So, i will suggest you to first solve at least last 10 years paper of NEET/AIPMT & AIIMS, and see are you able to solve them without help of other book? if not then i would suggest you have to change your strategy.....Atleast include NCERT textbooks in your study plan and see thus it help.....If you have any further query plz let us know...Best of luck

Hi Shivendra! As per the NEET brochure, the recommended textbooks are those prescribed by NCERT. I recommend that you study from this material as the exam questions are based on the concepts and principles mentioned in the NCERT textbooks. In biology, every word is important because about 80-85% of the questions are quite directly asked from the NCERT prescribed textbook. For reference books, I recommend Dinesh's Objective textbook for conceptual understanding and Pradeep's Publication for the questions. I hope this answers your question

This is also a good book so you can consider it but I always suggest students to follow the books which are easy to understand and which make all your concepts clear. Apart from this, it is advisable to focus on NCERT first as this would be the best book for NEET and AIIMS preparation. Other books which you can try - NCERT Biology of Class XI and XII Trueman's Biology Vol 1 and 2 Objective Biology by Dinesh Pradeep Publication's Biology GRB Bathla's Publication's for Biology Hope this helps!!!
