Hey aspirant,

SC/ST/OBC are different castes whereas Buddhism is a religion.

Both are unrelated. So, you can be a candidate of SC Category and avail the benefits of reservation.

There are many SC candidates who have gone under religion change from Hinduism to Buddhism but that has nothing to do with their category.

As long as you have a valid caste certificate, you belong to SC category.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

So what's your query! If you want to take admission through any counseling process there would be 15% seats are reserved for your quota for NEET. For Other Backward Castes 27% seats are reserved. For JEE mains also a number of seats available for SC category. So mention where and through which exam you want to take admission mentioning your caste and quota with that.
