With a NEET score of 380 and SC category, admission to low-fee private MBBS colleges is challenging but possible in some states through state quota or management seats. Fees vary widely; research colleges carefully and explore scholarships or reserved quotas.
Hello,
With 380 marks in NEET and being from the SC category, getting an MBBS seat in a private college with a low fee structure might be a bit difficult, but not impossible. Here's what you should know:
Private colleges usually have higher fees , but some of them do offer seats under government quota which have lower fees than management quota. These seats are usually filled through state counselling .
Since you're from the SC category, you may get some benefit in state quota counselling , especially in states where cut-offs for SC candidates are lower.
It also depends on your state of domicile , as cut-offs and fee structures vary from state to state.
You can also look for deemed universities or private colleges in states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, or MP , where sometimes the cut-offs are a bit lower for SC candidates.
It’s best to participate in all rounds of counselling , including mop-up and stray vacancy rounds , as seats sometimes remain vacant and the cut-off drops.
Hope it helps !
