Hello Arham

Based on your expected score, you have chances of getting a seat in government college. As per last year's NEET cutoff for admission in a government medical college for a general category candidate under state counseling a minimum of 530-40+ is required.
And according to that your score is less compared to the cutoff range of last year. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College, Lucknow - 469 marks, UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences, Etawah - 492 NEET score. These 2 government colleges had admission cutoff less than 500. However the cutoff changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates appearing for the entrance exam, the difficulty level of the paper, total number of seats available under state quota and related such.

Go through the page of cutoffs for various other government colleges in UP state:

You can use the college predictor tool to know your chances of admission based on your expected score:

In 2018, under General Category, 469 marks secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College. That has been the cut off. 492 marks secured a seat in UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. These have been the cut offs under General Category and you have a chance at either of the colleges. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hey there

There is less chance of yours getting a seat in government college in up as the cutoffs are higher for government colleges in up. You will get good private colleges like

1. Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi

2. Shriram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly

Etc. Check neet up cutoff

Hey Aspirant, Being a general category student yes you would get the seat with 500 in neet but not in a government medical college. There are several deemed university and Best private medical college. With this score getting a government medical seat is not possible.

Hope this helps

Good luck
