JEE Mains exam is Conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA), it is Conducted twice a year in January as well as April. You can get into any government Engineering College/University through this exam and moreover now a days mostly private institutions also are enrolling based on the score of JEE Mains 

No. Of attempts : Candidates can appear consequently for three years, exam being conducted twice a year 

Eligibility : The Candidate shall have obtained a minimum of 75% in 12th exams and shall have Physics, Chemistry, Maths as their main subjects
