The cutoffs change every year as it depends in various factors like number of candidates appeared for the examination, difficulty of paper, category candidate of the candidates, highest score obtained etc. Now if we go through last year's cutoffs, 129 was the cutoff score for NTSE stage 1 in Chhatisgarh for general category while it was 117 in 2018. Also 40% is the qualifying score in Both SAT and MAT for general category. Now if you are from general category with 125 marks in NTSE stage 1, you hold less chances of getting selected for the stage 2 unless the cutoff drops.
