See u r from the core discipline so must be knowing about the rush and competition in ur branch for the GATE exam. The marks u have scored is above the qualifying marks but is not enough for u to get admissioned in the IITs for ur further studies.

Ur marks is somewhat enough for u to get admissioned in the NITs under ur category. So wisely choose the colleges as u might have few choices only with u.
