Getting into an IIT requires getting good rank in JEE Advanced only!
For general category, around 50 % marks will fetch a good IIT and some decent branch.
Assuming you scored 54 marks in JEE advance 2019 and since you belong to the SC category it indicates your name can definitely come in the merit list. Your rank will determine your college next and which branch you want to opt for.
Considering you might just make it to the merit list you won't be getting very good IITs and to be honest you might not get your desired stream in any old IIT. Although I have seen SC people with AIR 4000 getting CSE in IIT Bombay, so there is that as well.
Although you will be able to get other new IITs and a good branch as well since currently, reservation of 15%, 7.5%, and 28% seats are provided for candidates hailing from SC, ST and OBC communities. So a total of 10,000 seats available,1500 are for sc.
Best of luck! I hope you are able to get your desired stream in your desired college.
Keep the Josh high my friend.

Hi Lrp,
I can't tell you surely how the nature of cutoffs will show this but as per trends you can easily get a seat in IIT, not with a good stream actually but a seat in lower IITs or lower streams. This year the difficulty level was slightly higher than last year, so we are expecting a reduction in cutoff. So, let's hope for the best.
Thank you
