Hey Rohit

See by seeing ur rank it is clear that u have got good marks in the GATE exam. But u r from EE branch which is one of the core branch and has more no of applicants than other.

So according to me u will easily get a chance to pisue ur higher studies in NITs but u will get only few options in IITs. About getting job in PSUs u might get deprived of that as the cut off rank for that is below 700.
