There are lots of colleges that go without gate marks. However they examine your graduate points and your 10th and 12th marks. You must need to satisfy the basic requirement for the admission of that particular college. Follow the following steps.
1. You can take mtech degree only based on your bachelor degree. Like you can't take computer science in btech and do aviation in m tech. You first need to suit to study the particular mtech course.
2. Check for the colleges that go without the gate.
3. Shortlist those which will you will be able to get.
4. Check for the admission procedures..like each college will be having different admission procedure..like entrance exams or personal interview
5. You need to complete all this and finally you will be getting letter from the institution if you get selected.
These may look simple but you need to carefully proceed each step.

Most of the reputed institutes like IISC , IITs , NITs, IIITs, IIST etc conducts admisiion for Mtech through gate.

Some of the state government colleges also take admission through gate.

But there are some institutes like BITs ,some private engineering colleges, and some state government engineering colleges (like TANCET(Anna University)that conducts seperate exams for Mtech.
