I am graduate in botany which course I should prefer?

It depends upon you.. if you want to go for medical sciences course, you have to qualify neet ug exam to avail a seat..
However if you are intrested in teaching line, you can do BEd course and apply for teaching..

You did graduation from botany
Now you can go for master's

You can go in the teaching line and can be biology teacher

You switch from botany to other specific biological field such as MSc Biotechnology, MSc Genetics & Cell biology, MSc Environmental Science, MSc Forestry. All these have quite good demand in research organisations.


Studying forestry can help you in Indian Forest Examination if you feel taking up this exam at any point of time. There are 2 optional subjects need to be taken and there you have 2 subjects readymade with you- Botany & Forestry.



You can go for the integrated MSc+PhD program. Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai every year conducts the exam for entry into this program. IISc, Bangalore also offers integrated MSC+PhD
