Well my dear friend there is nothing to worry about.
Your marks are still decent. Just think it was a bad day at office. It doesn't mean it will ruin your whole life. You can give cat and other mba entrance exams.
I know you will pull it off in great style.
Now I am very happy that you are motivated towards your goal.
Nowadays companies are offering good placements to talented aspirants. If you are capable enough then definately you will get a good job with decent academics. Don't worry and focus on exams.

Your placement in companies will be not much impacted by your past academic scores as compared to your admission. Specially in the case of Bschool admissions, past academic scores and then the exam percentile matters. But not in the placement.

With this percentage you can get into good bschools provided you do not limit yourself with one management exam. Give various exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT etc.. and widen your admissions chances in various institutes.

Some consider past academics strictly while other do not focus on it much at the time of admissions.

So what ever exam you give make sure you focus on the percentile and other selection rounds like GD/PI and WAT.

 

Don't get disheartened and just work smartly and efficiently. Do not worry about the placements.
