For writing the upcoming JEE Mains 2020, you need to be in class 12th as you need to get a certain qualifying marks in your 12th boards to be eligible for any college. Hence you would be eligible for writing Mains only in 2021, not this year.

There is no point in giving JEE Mains in 11th standard as the paper will be based on the 12th standard's syllabus as well moreover if you apply and qualify in the exam you won't get admission in any college as you need to pass the 12th board exams for that.

No,you will not be eligible because you must be 12th grade qualifying candidate or Intermediate examination or any equivalent examination as listed by NTA. Also,you will require at least 75% marks in aggregate or fall in the top 20 percentile of Class 12th qualifying exam of their state or central board of education to be eligible for JEE Main.
