I Am in 11th standard and I wanted to know whether NCERT books are sufficient for the board exams as well as national level exams?

never ever enough for jee ....for other exams it is fine

Go for ncert, but read each and every point of it.

there are two types of book
1 . Theoretical based
2. problem based
which type of book do you need...
if you want to do clear your concepts you should go for 1st one and if you want to do lot of problems you should go for 2nd one..
