Hello Aspirant,

For you to study quantum physics and also opt for bsc physics, you must have mathematics in your 12th. Even if you opt for physics as your major paper in degree, you must have 55% in maths. And similarly if you have to achieve something in future with physics, you must have maths base and you must have mathematics in degrew too if you want to specialise in quantum physics

Good Luck

Hi,

It is not necessary to study Mathematics to pursue B.Sc. Physics. A student should have completed his/her 10+2 in with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. So You can study Quantum mechanics for B.Sc. but if you want to study Mathematics then you can give the exam of Mathematics from NIOS and study quantum mechanics.

So I wish you best of Luck

Thank You
