JEE MAIN 2020 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Candidate should have passed the class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam in 2018 or 2019. Also, those who have appeared in class 12 exam in 2020, are also eligible for JEE Main 2020.
2. There is no age limit to seat for the exam.
3. JEE Main candidates can participate in the entrance exam for 3 consecutive years . The exam will be conducted twice a year , they may appear in both the attempts. The attempt for an academic year will be considered as one. Therefore, the total no. of attempts in JEE Main for one candidate is six .

4. Candidate should have passed the qualifying exam with the combination of following subjects,

   Recommended

For B.Tech./ B.E.

• Physics

• Mathematics

• Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject)

For B.Arch.

• Mathematics

• Physics

• Chemistry

For B.Plan.

• Mathematics

If you pass all the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2020. For admission in NIT you need to clear JEE Main first. Check out this year's and previous years' cut off here :
