Yes being in bcom 3rd you can appear for MBA exams.
It requires hard core preparation period of 4 to 5 months.So I would suggest you if you directly want to go for MBA after your completion of bcom.

You have to fill the CAT form and its portal will open soon. You may need sometime of about 3 or 4 months to prepare for that exam. So start studying from now only to have a great result.
