Firstly you should join a good tutor or coach which help you throughout your studying period who can help you in solving your doubts and questions and can guide you properly.
Than you should make your time table for all 3 subjects.
Than you should collect data and materials for the subjects from which you will be going to prepare yourself.
Read concepts from good books and try to understand everything don't just read it learn and practice and remember it along with solve numericals and questions which built your concept and theory.
And mark important things with highlighter.
Do this with proper time schedule and in fix time.
Keep moving like this for all syllabus.in between ( like in weekend you can solve test of previous chapters and concepts like speed booster test ; conceptual test : solving test etc. which will refresh your concepts again and again.
Clear your doubts of every test just after the test within two or three days from your concerned teacher or guider.( Institute teacher).
Once all the syllabus covered start reading concepts again and again and solve numericals as much as you can.solve some good and high level books now when you are prepared with all the concepts and theories.
And in mid of 12th join test series ( of any good institute).
And one important thing never feel depressed and down.
Take some refreshments and enjoyment in between studying.
Don't take it as burden do it with passion or dedication.
Never loose hope till last and be calm and patience ( some time we think that this is vast syllabus we can not do this this and that and other negative thoughts ).
So try to avoid all these thoughts and just focus on study and do some less but with proper concentration .
And you will definitely get results in exam even you failed many times during studying period i.e 11 the and 12th.

Hello Ashwini,these are some tips to prepare in IIT exam (JEE Mains and JEE Advanced).Tips are:

1.Prepare the basic concepts from NCERT

2.Do concepts fundamentals from standard books.Especially in physics and maths.In chemistry NCERT foundation is best

3.Practice questions from question bank.

4.Revise the difficult qusetion on a monthly basis.

5.For heavy concepts reffered youtube educational video.

6.Atleast 4 hours on concept building and solving question from the book especially MCQ

7.Atleast 1 hours for question bank solving which make familiar with actual exam
