Yes, you can discontinue the course and get admission again in Engineering. You may have to appear for entrance examination if you are seeking admission in to an institute which provides admission based on entrance examination. If the admission is based on merit in 10+2 or its equivalent then you can get admission based on your score in 10+2. Make a list of institutes in which you are interested to seek  admission.
