Hi,

May students face this problem. So in this case, when your parents are not supporting you for taking up arts then you should talk to your parents calmly tell them what are the plus points of Arts sector. I would like to tell you that only parents are the one's who will never think bad for you ever. So if by chance you are unable to cahnge your parents' mind then go for Science branch. And for the case of UPSC exams, even science students give UPSC exams and clear it with very good marks, the efforts would be a little more but else every thing will be normal while studying for UPSC.

I wish you best of Luck

Thank You

Hello Suhas,

Sit down and talk to your parents and talk about your ambitions and interests. Talk to them calmly and try to make them understand how you cannot do science. If things do not work out, seek professional help. Talk to an educational counsellor maybe in your school. Remember, if you are sure about taking a course, take it. Do not go for any other stream.

Hope this helps.
