If you are interested to join defence, you will have to prepare for entrance exam.

National Defence Academy & Naval Academy commonly known as NDA/NA is a national level defence entrance exam conducted for candidates who wish to pursue their career as commissioned officers in Army, Navy, Air Force and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

The exam is conducted twice a year.

Eligibility criteria to be eligible for exam  is candidate must have passed class 12 under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent or equivalent examination.

You must also be physically fit.
