As you have mentioned that you are 18 years old and you are wanting to know which vaccine is best for you whether it's covaxin or covi shield . So as I have taken the vaccine, as per my view covi sheild is a much better option than covaxin with lesser number of side effects.

Covaxin - As you told you are just 18 years old, so, covaxin injections are applied only to people whose age is above 18 years. And also, if this injection is applied in phase 3 trial with Covaxin, its effect will be  of 78% – 100%. You should apply this injection only done under the supervision of the doctors, and do not try using anything without the advice of the doctors. This injection is administered to you in 4-6 weeks.

Covishield - If you use this Kovid injection,its effect will be of 70% -90%. This can only be applied to people with age over 12 years. I request you to use this vaccine only under the supervision of doctors and always take the advice of doctors. You are needed to take two to two full weeks after 4–8 weeks of this second vaccination.

Also, do consult a doctor for the same! Only after his/her confirmation, go for vaccine.
