It is essential for the candidates to qualify JEE Main 2020 or JEE Advanced 2020 to participate in JoSAA 2020. Through JoSAA counselling, candidates get admission in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs on the basis of jee Main Marks and to IITs on the basis of Jee Advanced score. So if you haven't qualified Jee Main, that means you haven't met the minimum qualifying marks of jee Main so you will not be awarded any seat in any NITs, IIITs or in CFTIs. So you can't participate in JoSAA counselling 2020 as the minimum eligibility criteria says that the candidate must has qualified Jee Mains 2020.
