No, qualifying the EAMCET exam (or any specific entrance exam) is not a requirement for the Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girls Students (Technical Degree).

Only female students are eligible.

• Applicants must be admitted to the first year of a degree/diploma program in a technical field at an AICTE-approved institution in the current academic year.

  be admitted to the second year of a diploma program through lateral entry.

To be eligible for the pragati scholarship candidate must be a girl students admitted to the first year of a diploma/degree course or the second year through lateral entry at AICTE-approved institutions to be eligible for this scholarship. They should also have a family income of less than 8,00,000 per year.you can apply in engineering colleges even if you not qualified in eamcet but you have to pay more amount of fees to join in engineering colleges B-Category seats in like CBIT , VNR  etc.
