Hello,

If you’re a PCMB student interested in Genetics and Biosciences research, you can go for B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, or Life Sciences. After that, pursue M.Sc. and PhD for a research career.

Here I List out some top Government Colleges:

  • Delhi University (Miranda House, Hindu College, Daulat Ram College)

  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU)

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)

  • IISERs (all campuses)

  • AIIMS (for Biomedical/Biosciences research)

  • University of Hyderabad

Entrance Exams: CUET-UG, IISER Aptitude Test, BHU UET, or institute-level tests.
Focus on Biology and Chemistry to get into top research-oriented programs.

Hope you understand.
