Hello Anshika Gaur, if you are in final year of Msc or you completed your Msc in agricultural horticulture science then you are eligible for gate but if you are 1st year stydent of Msc then you are not eligible for gate exam.

As far as I know you can give GATE exam only if you are in final year of MSc or after you have completed MSc. After you have completed MSc you can apply for GATE on qualifying which you will be eligible for mtech. You can check the eligibilty criterias on http://gate.iitm.ac.in/gate2019/Eligibility.php
