Dear Aspirant ,

As per the general rule you need to have not necessarily taken up science but you need to have studied Physics ,Mathematics and chemistry as your core subjects in 11th and 12th standard with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12th standard Examination from a recognized board.

But yes, a diploma in mechanical engineering can be pursued right after 10th. The eligibilty for the same is 55% marks in 10th board exams.

Hope this helped !

Hey,

Unfortunately a commerce student is not eligible for any engineering courses or diploma because to do that you have to pursue mathematics, physics and chemistry subjects till your 12th class and due to this reason a commerce student can not do it because the commerce students will not have these subjects.

Hope this helps you.
