Since you are looking forward to it you can apply right away. You can register for the CTP examination online or submit a paper form. If you prefer to submit the paper form , request an electronic copy of Certificate Candidate Handbook(CCH). Nowadays most feasible way adopted by people is online way of registering oneself.
