the old nit's will require high marks for the admission but the new one's requires little bit less than old ones.so you can prefer the new nit's like NIT delhi,nit goa,nit puducherry,nit AP etc.,

dont underestimate yourself man...be cheerful and confident.try to put your whole hardwork and solve previous year's papers and ncert books.i hope you can earn admission in top nit's too.
