If you are pursuing 12th currently, it is absolutely the right time to make a goal for NIFT the coming year. Students from any board can appear in the exam if he/she has a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from any stream.

NIFT provides a total of 32 exam centres all over India. As you are from Bihar, you can elect your preferred exam centre to be Patna, Kolkata or Ranchi.

NIFT releases its application forms around October- November each year, and exam occurs in February-March. So make sure you do not miss the deadlines!

Yes, you can.
Eligibility Criteria for NIFT Entrance Exam.
Age Criterion:

For UG Programmes, the upper age limit is 23 years as on October 1, 2019. For ST/SC candidates, the age relaxation is of 5 years.

There is no upper or lower age limit for PG Admissions.

For B.F.Tech (Apparel Production):

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level degree from a recognized board or university.

Qualifying Subjects:Candidate must have qualified with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For B.Des Programme:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed his/her10+2 level degree from a recognized board or university.

For M.F.Tech Programme:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have done their Bachelors degree in F.Tech from NIFT or B.Tech/B.E from a recognized institute or university.

For M.Des Programme:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have done their bachelors degree from a recognized institute or university OR
Should have done UG Diploma in UG design of minimum 3 years from NIFT or NID.
