No, a laminated certificate may not cause any problem as long as it is the original certificate without any discrepancies. The lamination will just protect the certificates and act as water resistant, dust resistant and tear proof. So you do not have to worry about that. You can carry these original documents for document verification for various admission counsellings or job recruitment.
