Hii

To crack JEE Mains, you need focus and dedication, rest hardwork is always a key to success.
Here are some tips that can help you.
So first of all, know well what you have to study i.e the syllabus. Once you are familiar with the syllabus, prepare a schedule for yourself which you are going to follow for the rest of the time left for the exam.
In this schedule make sure you have given time to each and every part so that nothing is left uncovered. Like nowadays your board exams must be up your head so divide time to your board preparations as well as your jee preparations.
You can divide your day in some slots of two hours or so and study with breaks in between so that your mind also is relaxed and you have a better focus.
Here is the syllabus for your JEE Mains-
Maths -

  • Sets, Relations and functions
  • Complex Numbers and quadratic equations
  • Matrices and determinants
  • Mathematical reasoning
  • Mathematical Induction
  • Permutations and combinations
  • Sequences and series
  • Limits, continuity and differentiability
  • Integral calculus
  • Differential equations
  • Binomial theorem and its simple applications
  • Three-dimensional geometry
  • Vector algebra
  • Co-ordinate geometry
  • Statistics and probability
  • Trignometry

Physics-

  • Physics and measurement
  • Kinematics
  • Thermodynamics
  • Work, energy, power
  • Rotational motion
  • Gravitation
  • Laws of motion
  • Properties of solid and liquid
  • Electronic devices
  • Kinetic theory of gases
  • oscillations and waves
  • Communication systems
  • Current electricity
  • Magnetic effects of current and Magnetism
  • Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents
  • Electromagnetic waves
  • Optics
  • Dual nature of matter and radiation
  • Electrostatistics
  • Atom and Nuclei
Chemistry-
  • Some basic concepts in chemistry
  • States of Matter
  • Atomic structure
  • Chemical bonding and molecular structure
  • Chemical thermodynamics
  • Solutions
  • Equilibrium
  • Redox reaction and electrochemistry
  • Chemical Kinetics
  • Surface chemistry
  • Purification and characterisation of organic compounds
  • Hydrocarbons
  • Chemistry in everyday life
  • Principles related to practical chemistry
  • Organic compounds containing halogens
  • Organic compounds containing oxygen
  • Organic compounds containing nitrogen
  • Polymers
  • Some basic principles of organic chemistry
  • Biomolecules
  • Classification of elements and periodicity in properties
  • Hydrogen
  • Block elements (alkali and alkaline earth metals)
  • P Block elements group 13 to group 18 elements
  • d- and f - block elements
  • Co-ordination compounds
  • Environmental chemistry
  • General principles and processes of isolation of metals

Secondly, you would require proper study material. Firstly start with NCERT to clear all your basics and then refer to other guides. Here is a list of few good books -
Physics-

  • Concepts of Physics by HC Verma
  • Understanding JEE Physics series by DC Pandey

Cemistry-

  • Arihant's Practice Book chemistry for JEE Mains and Advance by RK Gupta
  • University Chemistry by Freedman and Young

Maths-

  • IIT Mathematics for JEE Main & Advanced by ML Khanna
  • Courses in Mathematics for IIT JEE by Tata McGraw Hill Publications

These are some books you can refer, if you have other good books you can go for them also. Also keep in mind that the more you practice the better you will perform. So remember to solve practice papers and previous year papers as much as you can.
Do not loose hope and stay confident and focused.

Hello,

Study for your exams at the time of boards thoroughly, try to cover as much syllabus as you can, of the academic curriculum. Because at this moment that study is going to help you conquer every mark in boards as well as JEE. After boards or before the exam if you can devote the time just go through your whole syllabus neatly, to the extent that at least you should know where to find what point in case of doubt. Then solve daily two papers, and keep learning from the mistakes you will do in these papers. If you just keep reading the syllabus always, you will always feel something being left out. But solving papers regularly will help you identify the type of problems where you are always right in a glance, you will learn excellent time management for the paper and at the same time you will keep learning the actual syllabus. Just be sincere and dedicated in these last few days left for examination. Anyway it going to be based on the basic knowledge you have before week of the exam, because you cannot ace these exams by learning it all in one day. Just remember to remain calm and solve the paper at the time of examination, most of the students do not fail due to their inability to solve the questions but due to being highly stressed and improper time management. JEE exam is not that hard, it just tries to test you as much as it can in three hours. Try to score at least 30-40 marks more than last year's general category cutoff in your trial paper. Once in every week at the least consult a mentor and solve all your doubts. Clearing cutoff won't be that hard.

All the best from everyone here at Careers360. We are here for you always and you may irritate us with all your queries regarding careers and curriculum until you are satisfied.

Hello aspirant,

As there is less time you should work smart. Prepare a schedule as per the known weightages and work evenly for the 3 subjects. Prepare short notes for chemistry from ncert. Also prepare a formulas list for maths and physics. Time management is also an important thing,so work on the practice papers within the given time. Maintain a error notes where you should note all your errors so that it will be useful for revision

Good luck!
