You can choose the subjects fr GATE exam as per your choice but it would be much better to choose the subjects with which you are more familiar.

As en ECE student, I would like to give you some tips which might help to prepare accordingly.

• So first of all start with Mathematics.
• Then start with your core subjects like Network theory.
• Circuits and Systems
• Digital Electronics

These are the main points you should focus while studying. As these three differently will consume more of your time. Practice them thoroughly.

Practice more questions and try to solve previous year papers.

Take tips from some who have given the exam.
