Lateral entry refers to admission of students for second year directly through Diploma qualification. The students seeking admission (regular entry) to second, third and final year should have earned all the credits of the pre-previous year and at least 75% credits of the previous year.
 The admission process and eligibility to various undergraduate programmes for regular entry (first year) and lateral entry (second year) are governed by the norms and procedures of Government of Maharashtra.
