Yes, Lateral entry in B.tech courses is offered at Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology.
Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent after undergoing regular course of three years study in an approved institution are eligible for admission.
You will get direct admission in second year.
You cant apply in final year because in their website they have mentioned that you will have provide Photocopy of the 5th & 6th Semester Mark sheets.
So, that means you must have have completed you diploma first.
