For candidates with BSc Nutrition and Dietics opportunites are there in the health department of government hospitals, private nursing homes and hospitals,health clubs,NGOs, pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturing companies, R&D companies,eduction institutes, you can also be an entreprenuer by setting up your own clinic.

If you're academically inclined or have inclination towards research, you can pursue higher studies and qualify NET/SET to work as an Assistant Professor.

In order to be a dietician you've to pursue MSc and go through six months intership at any hospital which is recognized by IDA or having two years work experience at any hospital as a dietician, further you can appear for RD which is held by IDA and qualify it and then register with IDA to become a registered dietician.
