Hii Parvez.
Your percentile this year was very good.
So your decision of taking drop to clear the board criteria is very good.
Nothing is considered like dropper or fresher.
Even if it is considered in negative way you should take it positive and score well both in boards and MAINS.
While filling the JEE MAINS form they will not accept about whether you had given it previously or not.

They ask you to fill your current information that'll be as appearing candidates but you may consider as a dropper because you already appear once in jee mains.

You have to mention that you also applied for improvement in board exam.
