First of all remember that JEE provides only two attempts for writing Mains and Advanced, both of which have to be written in the same year.

It's not like you write Mains this year and then prepare for some two or three years and then give Advanced -No. Both need to be written in the same year.

The two attempts are basically - one in the year of graduating class 12 and the second attempt can even given a year after that.

So, as you haven't applied for Mains 2018, you are left with one and on one chance to fulfill your IIT dream - to write next year.

Rajendra not an issue still there are chances left for you . Inorder to write the JEE mains entrance exam you have One more chance for that the registration window will be open from February 8 - Match 7 and for other private entrance exam which is conducted at the national level for that also you can be able to fill those application form like :

• VITEEE
• SRMJEEE
• COMEDK
• WBJEE
• LPU
• HITS
• BITSAT

And many more.

For second chance
Because from this year jee mains will be conducted twice in a year
But after the jee mains don't forget to apply for jee advanced because it is conducted only once in a year.

From this year onwards you will getting two chances for appearing in JEE mains you are still eligible to fill the form and achieve what you want.
