Though it was not good idea.
But you can make this decision even better if you go with full of preparation in 2 nd chance.
You have to make your time table .
Your main focus is on jee mains now. But don't ignore boards also.
And one thing if you are preparing for JEE it will cover your board syllabus also so you just need to focus on it.
And from mid January you can focus on the theory and writing style of boards along with jee preparation .carry both simultaneously
If you give 2 hours daily from February to boards preparation along with jee it is enough and you can score more than 90%.
So

yes, you made a great decision. first concentrate on your board exams and spend some time daily for the preparation of jee mains which to be held on april 2019.dont get panic and stressed, spend 2/3 hours daily.you can crack jee main.dont worry!
