Hello there!

Greetings!

First of all you need to learn name reactions,  name reactions are just like your formulas in maths for solving maths problems , similar is in Organic Chemistry with name reactions a number of products can be made with the help of name reactions and many times , even questions are directly asked from name reactions,  first of all to learn any reaction in Organic Chemistry,  you need to go through its mechanism so that you are able to understand everything and it will make memorising thing easy and first of all complete organic chemistry from ncert and after completing each chapter you should go through the solved and examples and then go through every single unsolved questions as ncert questions are really good for building concepts and questions in neet are mainly based on ncert and once you are done with ncert go through past 30 year question papers of neet -aipmt , then go for mock tests and then you will be ready to kill the neet 2020 . Best of luck for preparation,  do follow these tips ...

Hello Gaurav

See, if you can't remember all the name reactions then here's the list of the most important ones:

Actions of Diazonium salts i.e. sandmeyer,gatterman,balz-schiemann.

Friedel Crafts reactions.

Wurtz and Fittig reactions.

hydroboration-oxidation.

kolbe’s reaction.

Reimer Tiemann reaction.

Rosenmund reaction.

Stephen’s and Etard reactions.

Clemmenson and Wolff Kischner reductions.

Aldol and cross Aldol reactions.

Cannizaro and cross Cannizaro reactions.

Esterification reaction.

Hell-Volhard-Zelinsky(HVZ) reaction.

Hoffmann’s ammonolysis and bromamide degradation reactions.

Gabriel phthalamide reaction.

Coupling reaction.

Now, one more thing. No one can assure you about any questions that only these will come but as far as weightage is concerned then you can do these first.

Hey there

Organic chemistry is just like maths if you'll learn the concept, the logic then you'll you'll find the it easy or else you'll have to memorize each reactions. So try to first read GOC it will make your organic basics and then go for others. Follow NCERT which is sufficient for theory but you can refer Pradeep's chemistry also. MS CHAUHAN is good for numericals when you are done with NCERT.

Good luck
