Dear Aspirant,
The NDA is held in the offline mode (written test) and consist of 2 sections- Mathematics and General Ability Test. The candidate is given 5 hours for both the sections. The paper comprises of 900 Marks (300 Marks for Mathematics and 600 Marks for General Ability Test). The syllabus designed is of CBSE 10+2 standards. All the questions in the paper will be of objective type. All questions will carry 2.5 marks each, which will only be allotted for choosing the correct answer. 0.83 Marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer in this section. The General Ability Test (GAT) paper is further divided into two sections – A and B. There are questions of English in the Section A of the GAT revolving around Grammar and Usage, Vocabulary, Comprehension. Paper B comprises of questions from General Knowledge revolving around Physics, History, Geography, Chemistry, General Science and Current Events . . Total marks of the paper is 600 marks.
