If you are preparing Gujarat board in 2020 and will appear for Board examinations in the March 2021 when you are passing your would be considered 2021.

Now coming on your another question that you will be e considered as a a full-time 12th student.

But if you do not want to to do so then you can apply as an ex student so that you can continue your study as well as your another work.
