i gave 12th exam previous year and got compartment in 1 sub and gave this year again got compartment in 3 subjects which marks would be considered
If you appeared for CBSE Class 12 exams last year and got compartment in one subject, then attempted again this year but ended up with compartment in three subjects, the marks from your latest attempt (this year) will be considered valid. CBSE always treats the most recent exam attempt as the final record. Your previous year’s marks are not carried forward once you reappear. To pass, you must clear all subjects in the current cycle. If not, you will need to reappear in the next compartment exam as per CBSE rules.
Hi,
If you gave your 12th board exam last year, got a compartment in one subject, and unfortunately got compartment again this year, don't worry—you still have another chance. CBSE allows up to three attempts to clear a compartment subject. Your next opportunity will likely be in July 2025.
Make sure to stay updated on dates through the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in (https://www.cbse.gov.in) .
Hope this helps!
