Even i had the same doubt..but  just  now i came to know that i can avail the benefits of OBC(NCL) although my father's salary is above 8 lakh  yet there are certain criterias(issued by NCBC OFFICE MEMORANDUM 8 SEPTEMBER 1993..google it nd spread this message)..that has to be followed ...

yes you will mention your category is OBC and not as you are if you have an OBC certificate to prove your reservation but that has got nothing to do with your monthly salary of the family being more or less than 8 lacs since you already have the OBC certificate and that is proof enough for you to be held eligible for the OBC reservation during the counselling

if you have the obc certificate you can apply for obc category & why would there be no option for obc there. you can fill in your category as UR/OBC/ST/SC 

please check again.

also there is not a much difference in the cut off of UR & OBC so it’s totally your decision as to what to fill in .
