I belong to obc creamy layer. Do I get any reservation in state quota? What should I fill in NEET PG application? Obc or general? As there is no separate option as obc creamy in neet 2021 application.

Hello,

OBC or Other Backward Caste category is further divided into OBC- NCL ( Other Backward Caste Non Creamy Layer) and OBC - CL( Other Backward Caste - Creamy Layer).

Now The reservation benefits provided to OBC Category students is for OBC- NCL students and not OBC- CL students.

Hence it is advised since you can't claim reservation  (•27% seats are reserved for OBC-NCL candidates only in colleges run by central government.)

benefits then you belong to Unreserved category and hence should go with General Category.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

So, this holds for both all India and state quota!? I heard that we (obc cl) can have reservation benefit in state quota (Andhra).
