It's fine to fear about the future kinda thing. And its really good that you've contacted someone about your future. Just let me tell you that hoe can you decide your goal then you'll come to know, what exactly you're interested in
1. Firstly, contact your parents they've seen you from your childhood. They know what you meant to be, they know what you're. They'll guide you(if they're educated, sorry for saying this)
2. Second thing, it's about you, you know what you're it's okay that you're interested in engineering, gaming, fashion designing etc.., decide this thing with your parents because it's the major step in your life and it's about the income too. Decide after certain concern over that.

You were thinking the same trend which followed by other  students. Think beyond the Engineering degree and mark your trend .

Check your foundation in Maths or Physics if its above than average than think of engineering otherwise you will.be in same rat race and have to compromise with the salary too.
