according to the central government regulatory information. muslims,christians,silks,jains will come under the minority communities in india and also some of the 30% backward people in OBC are categorized. if you belong to OBC and a minority, better select the option as "minority" because you can avail lot of the scholarship scheme from the state goverment and also you can eligible for the some scholarship schemes in central government/MHRD program, Go with "minority" option.
